Terms and Conditions Decision Support System (DSS) Student Disciplinary Tribunal Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) By accessing and using the Decision Support System (DSS) for the Student Disciplinary Tribunal, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Acceptance of Terms
By logging into the DSS, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the system.
2. Purpose of the System The DSS is designed exclusively for use by authorized personnel, including Students, Program Chairs, Deans, and Admin staff, to facilitate the management of student disciplinary cases and decisions.
3. User Responsibilities
a. Access Credentials
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Unauthorized sharing of accounts is strictly prohibited.
b. System Usage
Users must use the system only for its intended purpose: managing, reviewing, and tracking student disciplinary cases.
Any attempt to tamper with or misuse the system may result in disciplinary actions or account suspension.
c. Data Accuracy
Users must ensure that all data entered into the system is accurate and truthful. Falsification of data is prohibited.
4. Privacy and Data Security
a. Data Collection The DSS collects and processes information related to disciplinary cases, user accounts, and tribunal decisions.
b. Data Usage The data is used solely for disciplinary management purposes and will not be disclosed without proper authorization unless required by law.
c. Data Protection The system employs security measures to protect user data. However, users must also take precautions, such as not sharing their login credentials, to ensure security.
5. System Maintenance and Updates The DSS may undergo updates and maintenance to improve functionality and security. During such times, access to the system may be temporarily restricted. Users will be notified of planned downtimes whenever possible.
6. Limitations of Liability The developers and administrators of the DSS are not liable for:
a. Any system downtime or temporary unavailability.
b. Unauthorized access resulting from user negligence.
c. Incorrect decisions made due to inaccurate data input by users.
7. Prohibited Actions Users must not:
a. Attempt to hack, alter, or disrupt the system.
b. Use the system to harass, threaten, or harm others.
c. Access or retrieve data outside their authorized permissions.
8. Termination of Access
Access to the system may be revoked for users who violate these terms or engage in unauthorized activities.
9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
These terms may be updated periodically to reflect system changes or legal requirements. Continued use of the system constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
